Update on the recall of Troy and Vogue Journey e-cargo bikes
On September 18, 2024, we issued a safety warning for Troy and Vogue Journey e-cargo bike models because there have been some incidents of frame breakages of the Troy and Vogue Journey models in recent years. Even though the numbers involved are limited, and the reason of these reported breakages are not always clear, we have decided to urgently advise you to stop using these e-cargo bikes.
Our focus is on resolving this as quickly and efficiently as possible
We are working hard behind the scenes to determine exactly what is going on and how we can solve it. We are conducting extensive research for this in close collaboration with the Dutch Food and Consumer Product Safety Authority (NVWA) and with experts. We test the models extensively against new and very strict standards so that we can determine exactly what the cause is and how we can best remedy it. We expect this test phase to be completed early next year. We will then call on you to have any improvements made to your e-cargo bike.
